Description:
Responsible for compiling complex transaction details and reporting for all credit and debit card products. Recommend and assess changes required to meet member needs and develop plans for management consideration and approval. Assist management in the development and maintenance of cards related profit and loss statements to assure profitability and growth of the cards portfolio. Demonstrate competency in production management, analytics, reporting and member service guidance.
Duties performed by this role promote the coordination of production activities for three remote international vendor production sites that securely personalize and deliver EMV plastics to UNFCU members with debit and/or credit cards.
Accountabilities:
• Perform research and analysis derived from all internal and external information sources, including the UNFCU Data Warehouse, Cleartrend, TMG Dynamic Reports, First Data Reports, Visa Vue and Gemalto Allynis.
• Work closely with management to track profitability of cards products and identify opportunities to optimize costs with specific vendors and grow the cards portfolio.
• Make recommendations on steps to improve card enrollments and usage.
• Assist management in establishing or enhancing the measurement of key performance indicators for Card Services dashboard/scorecards.
• Propose and develop management information enhancements, collaborating with vendors and IT staff, to optimize efficient and profitable service delivery to members.
• Participate in the assessment of proposed vendor or system implementations.
• Partner with IT and department management to schedule production and secure delivery of plastics to members for both mass re-issues and standard card replacements.
• Develop and document internal procedures for rolling out new card products and mobile payment methods to members.
• Liaise with IT to coordinate integration of cards delivery systems with other internal systems, including core system development.
• Perform daily supervision of Visa mobile payment channels for debit and credit (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Android Pay); report monthly results.
• Work closely with Business Intelligence and other organizational data analysts to ensure validity and accuracy of data sources.
Qualifications:
TYPE & AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in a financial services environment with a focus on credit card services
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data into meaningful information and actions
• Familiarity with the acquisition, transmission, storage, deletion, and processing of EMV payment card data
• Advanced MS Office and database application skills
