Description:

Responsible for defining the creative strategy and implementation of the UNFCU brand across all communication channels, including the corporate website and print collateral. Executes front-end development of the UNFCU website, increasing visits and engagement on the site; develops the creative for product marketing campaigns across all components (posters, landing pages, emails, digital signage, etc.).

Accountabilities:

• Ensure a unified and consistent visual identity globally and across all communication channels.
• Establish the corporate website as a primary marketing channel with a compelling layout and design that attracts and engages visitors.
• Monitor online interactions and measure the impact to modify online strategy as needed.
• Work closely with all members of the Marketing team to develop original campaign concepts.
• Stay up-to-date on web/technology and design trends that allow for usability inside and outside of the financial services industry to improve the member experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
• Understand UNFCU products, services, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

TYPE & AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing or Communications with 5-7 years design experience across both print and online channels, as well as, working with corporate brand guidelines
• Use of PPC advertising, SEO, Google Analytics and Exact Target preferred
• Must have an up-to-date online portfolio

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, PowerPoint and Flash
• Experience with Responsive Web Design methodologies and working with a Content Management System (CMS)

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to work independently and exercise the use of good judgment
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS:
• Standard office conditions
• Willingness to work flexible hours (may be required to work off hours or off site as needed)
